Electricity Production Process Gas Power Plants

In general, electric power production system on gas power plants is divided into two cycles, there are:

Open Cycle

Open Cycle is the process of electricity production in power plant where the exhaust gases from gas turbines directly discharged into the air through the chimney channel output. The temperature of exhaust gases in the flue channel of this output is 550 C. Such a process is in the Central Power Plant Steam Gas (gas power plants) may be cited as the Power / Gas Turbine Power Production (gas power plants) is a process of generating electricity generated by gas turbine cycle.

Closed Cycle

If the Open Cycle Gas turbine exhaust gas from directly discharged through the chimney channel output, then in the process of Closed Cycle / closed cycle, the flue gas from a gas turbine will be used prior to cooking water in the HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator). Then the steam generated from the HRSG will be used to turn steam turbines to generate electricity after the first turn the generator. So the cycle of Closed / closed cycle is called as the Power / Gas Power Production Steam (gas power plants) is the process of electricity generation produced by the rotation of gas turbine and steam turbine.
